It's not swing, man.
The title is very misleading. There is very little big band jazz and swing on this DVD. In fact, there are more tracks with no music at all than there are big band jazz and swing tracks. Completely missing are Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Charlie Barnett and others. And Woodie Herman an Artie Shaw get one and two tracks only. Almost all of the big band numbers are of the "sweet" variety. I will compliment the producer on the inclusion of many tracks from the black companies.
