Too good to be forgotten
Raymond Chandler wrote about his world-gritty pre-war Los Angeles. This thriller tells a story well, murder with lots of suspects and a surprise finish. The movie is great but the book is better!

Delightful work of love
Rather than another 'how-to' book, Tasha Tudo'rs Heirloom Crafts walks the reader through the artist's private Vermot life which is also a peek into history. Tasha is nearly self-sustaining on her remote farm, growing not only her own food, but even the crops which make clothing. A menegerie of animals completes the picture and we are privildeged to be allowed to look through Ms Martin's loving eyes and someone we can all admire. I bought this book as I love all things Tasha. I was not disappointed and look forward to sharing this book with others. A visit to 19th century New England is a delightful trip indeed.

Various poems
i purchased this book because the cover showed a woman playing my favorite instrument, hammered dulcimer. The cover led me to believe this was a volume of dulcimer related poems. Sadly this was not the case, as there was only one, very sad, dulcimer poem in the book. The author is an award winner and the poetry is unique, but the cover and title are misleading and because of that I was disappointed.
