Great shifters/brake levers!
Bought these to upgrade an old Raleigh Mountain Tour (Elk Horn) 3x7. Was a little concerned about the pull ratio, but they work great with my Microshift M21 rear derailleur, and a Shimano Tourney A073 front. With high and low limits, and indexing set properly, these shifters are smooth, positive and consistent.
The EF500s come with all cables and housings (shift cable housings were pre-cut, and sized perfectly for the Mountain Tour). Also comes with two ferrules for brake cable housings, two for the shifters, and cable end caps. Cables and housings are long enough for any bike out there. (The Mountain Tour is a very long-frame bike, and I had at least 15 inches excess.)
I would absolutely recommend these for 3x7 gears. Just be sure they'll work with your derailleurs. If you're running Microshift or Shimano, you'll have no problems.
