Not designed very well
There's a few issues with the design of this toy.
Firstly the rope. It's fairly thick but not very tightly wound rope which means using very thick perches and leaves very little room for the birds to get inbetween the spaces. The fraying at the bottom also makes it irresistible for small birds to attempt to peck at and make into nesting material. Over time the constant pecking could cause the knots to loosen even more and cause the whole bottom tier to fall apart as the rope material itself is very soft and pulls apart easily.
Next the perch sizes. Being so thick they aren't suitable for small birds. Small birds need thinner perches that are approximately 1.5cm in diameter. These perches are roughly 2.5cm in diameter which is suitable for large birds like parrots and cockatiels, but the space between the different tiers is far too small for them to perch on. The thickness of these makes it more difficult for smaller bird claws to grip onto and stay steady on and over time can cause severe claw issues.
A parakeet or other animal that enjoys climbing ladders may prefer this, but with the rope being so loosely twisted and of a soft material it won't be long before very sharp beaks will shred it to pieces and cause it to fall apart.

Good picture quality, but the sound is something else
7 of 7 found this helpful Motion detection not compatible with Windows 10, please bear this in mind before purchasing.
The camera itself has a built in microphone which you will need to switch off in Sounds/Recording devices as it'll still pick up sound even if you have a microphone plugged in already. Trust me, you will want to disable it. Since most webcams are latched onto the monitor this means that the microphone is an arms' length away from you causing it to sound distant, and if like many you have a monitor on a table that's against the wall then not only will you get the distant sound your voice will bounce off the wall and be picked up by that ultra sensitive microphone so you have both your voice sounding distant and echoing. Your best bet is to use a proper microphone or headset than relying on the built in microphone that comes with this webcam.
As for the picture quality it is very good and crystal clear and that for me is more important so I'm pleased with it.
Setting up the camera was very simple also, just simply plug it in and it's ready to use. The mount that comes with it doesn't actually grip my monitor however since the camera itself isn't front or back heavy and the mount has a padded base it can easily dangle off the top of the monitor without moving or slipping.

Sturdy and well built
The wire mesh is quite strong and feels slightly heavy so there's no danger of it being pushed around or tipped over by larger birds. Since the mesh is fine this prevents seed from falling through to the ground and keeps it inside the feeder tray.
