Excellent Case for Smaller Devices
This cloth-covered carry case for smaller sized devices such as 10.1" to 12" tablets and 2-in-ones may seem ordinary until you open the main compartment and see the dimpled rubber lining that protects your device like no other case. The exterior cloth covering is a sturdy synthetic fabric that the maker describes as a "suit" type fabric, but it is far more wear and abrasion resistant than something you'll find on a man's suit. Open the generous side pocket and you have room for an AC adapter, a small mobile mouse and/or a presenter laser pointer next to the nylon interior pockets for cards, pens and flash drives. Don't buy other cases that don't offer a shoulder carry strap, because you never know when you will be traveling with a briefcase on one shoulder, pulling a carry-on bag with one hand and you would still like to carry on your device and have one hand free. This case has one of the better shoulder strap pads I have seen for comfortable carrying over longer periods of time. The attachment points and the clips for the shoulder strap could have been better with metal, but the plastic ones should last quite a while. I chose the light blue outer fabric because I prefer that color and texture, but this case also comes in a pleasant grey with green tinged fabric with a deeper looking visual texture. It would be difficult to find a better case for your smaller devices. I liked this case so well, I bought another of these in a larger size for a 13.3" 2-in-1 netbook and they are also available for larger sized laptops as well.

High Quality Wire Connectors
0 of 1 found this helpful These "Lever Nuts" replace the standard twist-on wire nuts that have been around for a long time. Lever nuts are superior in several ways. They usually take up less space than wire nuts, which is important in crowded junction boxes, and they usually make a firm connection to each individual wire that is properly inserted into them, while covering the bare ends of the wires completely. To reduce chances of shorting between other wires, the instructions say to strip and make the bare wire ends 10 to 11 mm long (a stripping guide is provided on each lever nut). You may see Type 222 lever nuts by this same company, but they are an older design that are larger than these newer German design Type 221 units. I would warn that a number of forums and other sources on the net express concern that non-genuine Wago lever nuts are being sold on eBay and other outlets and they could give a hazard of improper connection and fire hazard. Genuine Wago lever nuts manufactured in Germany, will have the Wago name and the type number on one of the levers. I would suggest for the time being, not buying lever nuts not made by Wago. Other issues to be aware of: These Type 221 connectors are rated for a maximum of 20 amps, sufficient for most single-phase household wiring, and for copper wires only - no aluminum or copper coated aluminum. Do not use these on three-phase circuits carrying more than 20 amps. The wire diameter or gauge range these nuts accept is large, making these convenient for connecting low amperage devices like LED lamp modules with small gauge wire leads. The lever nut assortment offered under this listing is a good starting point for anyone wanting to experiment or begin using this type of wire connector.

A Competent Indoor HDTV Signal Antenna
1 of 1 found this helpful The Mohu Leaf flat panel indoor antenna is a consistent win, show or place in comparisons of such antenna. I was skeptical about the ability of a flimsy flat sheet with wires sandwiched between a black plastic sheet and a white plastic sheet. The reviewers say that the pickup wire placement in the panel is done by fractal design. Whatever it is, this antenna seems to work as well as most of the reviews for these things say it does. The weird thing about some of those reviews is that the Leaf is not quite as good as an old "Bow Tie" type antenna from the 1960's that looks like somebody bent a wire coat hanger into a fancy shape.
The main thing to remember is that the reception for this antenna seems to be pretty directional, meaning that it is very sensitive to its orientation to the "Over the Air" (OTA) Digital TV signals that are being broadcast in your area. For example, I first situated the Leaf on the wall nearest my HDTV so that it was flat against the wall. I was able to get a few OTA channels and most were glitchy, giving blocky picture parts all over the screen and sound drop outs. I had suspended the Leaf with some wire on a drapery bracket and I played around with the orientation and found that if the antenna panel was exactly perpendicular (at 90°) to the wall, I was able to get far more OTA stations and the picture and sound quality was perfect. It turned out that the signals in my area were so strong after I oriented the antenna correctly that I did not need the included signal amplifier, but your area may require amplification of more distant OTA signals. So, it is best to buy one of these with the signal amplifier and then discover you don't need it rather than the other way around.
One of the best things about the model of Leaf antenna that I am reviewing here is that the antenna panel has a Type F coaxial cable connector coming out of a small box on the bottom of the panel, rather than a hard-wired cable like that coming out of other competing panel antenna. This arrangement gives you complete flexibility in choosing the right cable length for your needs. For example, in my application, I used a 3-foot long cable to connect the Leaf antenna to my HDTV. Some competing units have hard-wired 10 foot or longer coaxial cables. Remember that coax cable has a resistance for each foot of cable length and that attenuates the signal you get at the coax cable connector on your TV.
The reviewers of antenna like this one warn that as the lower frequencies of TV stations are taken over by cellular phone signals, that antenna like the Leaf may become less able to pull in OTA stations that operate at different frequencies than the Leaf and others of this type of antenna were designed to optimally receive. But, for now as an engineer, my opinion of the Mohu Leaf indoor flat panel antenna is that it is very good at reception if it is properly oriented to the majority of OTA signals in your area and the signal amplifier may be able to pull in stations that the un-amplified antenna might not receive very well. As always, don't put the antenna behind walls or windows that contain metals such as window screen and getting the antenna as high up as possible will also help with signal reception.
