Immeasureably better than going to Sam's Club, buying seven packs, and slogging them through the store, into the car, into the garage storage box and then every four days shlepping one upstairs. I save over $400 a year with my Zero Water filter. Tastes great. Only needs a new filter once a year with our low-mineral Seattle water but I fill five liters a day.

My best Stratocaster ever
1 of 1 found this helpful I have played guitar and bass for 40 years now, and I know a good guitar when I am playing it. I have one of these in sapphire blue with the Ash body they come with, and it is my best Strat out of three Strats I have owned.
It is a great guitar. Maybe it is just my copy, but the tones are so righteous. It has body, it has brilliance, it is so expressive. It sounds so balanced, but has some of that Ash growl, just a little. The neck is just right and does not draw attention to itself. The pickups are Vintage Noiseless--the same type Clapton plays. This guitar is an extension of me and the music just flows when I play. Don't care if the hardware is gold; I am not looking at it when I am playing. And it is about the sound much more than the looks, right?
The addition of a switch to add in the lead pickup is brilliant and every Strat should have one. I get all the tones from Hendrix to Chieli Minucci. Very versatile. I play now through a Vox VT50 and the combination makes me sound pro. Well, I am a semi-pro bass player, and guitar playing is just for fun. I have fun with this. I have to give it my highest recommendation. You probably won't find one at Guitarcenter, but if you find the Alder body Strats there lacking, this will probably do it for you.

My brand of strings
Nothing but good to say about D'Addario strings. I play 5,6 string bass and guitar. All their strings work very well. Smooth finish, excellent construction, tunes easily and no strange harmonics like some DR strings gave me some years ago. And they last a long time, for me. Elixirs are great but these hold their own. Thomas
