I toured Treasure Island and saw the buildings from the exhibition that are still in use and some of the statuary. The guide said that quite a few pieces are in storage. I knew that the exhibit was huge but didn't realize how extensive it was even after looking at maps of it. I wish I could have seen it. Unfortunately, I never asked my dad if he attended it. He was in L.A. but did like to travel. He had great stories about L.A. and especially Catalina Island from the thirties and early forties. I highly recommend the book.
