A good clip is like a 3rd hand.
Many DeWalt tools come with this belt hook, other do not, depends where you get it. This is the best deal going, need 5 or not, or put one on both sides for convenience.

Where Performance Outweighs Cost.
3 of 3 found this helpful These are excellent long life at low drain batteries. I use them in test equipment, cypher locks, clocks. They are probably more expensive over the same time as replacing alkaline battery's every 12~18 months but offer longer dependability. I have had problems with the squareness vs the rounded edges of alkaline batteries or even cheap lithium batteries, these have finally fit in for me once the wires are positioned to allow it. They seem to be stable at any ambient temperature.

The Cutting Edge
I tried a number of pocket box cutters before this, all were trashed before the blades dulled. This one, has only one, but curable fault. It is the large clip. But it can be removed! I bought 4 more just to keep in different jackets.
