Unhappy and forgettable
The book was well written, and in good condition, but I didn’t like the story. It was very dark and unhappy throughout.
I kept reading hoping it would resolve itself and the overall misery of the book would have a point, but it never did. The main girl is unhappy, the wizard is unhappy, the people who’s children get taken are unhappy, the people who don’t get taken are unhappy and even the wood is unhappy! I would never read this book again. With good books, I find myself thinking about them after I’ve finished and that’s how I know they hit a chord and stayed with me, but with this book. I was glad to finish it and I completely forgot it afterwards. This is not like the authors earlier “Temmorair books”. I loved those. If you want a memorable book, this isn’t it.

Just beautiful! So many details, including stand, shoes and collection booklet. I’m so happy I bought this doll.

Game wouldn’t play
2 of 2 found this helpful It wouldn’t ever play. My son was so let down. I believe it would have been a good game if we had ever been able to play it. I’m not sure if it was just this disc or not, but it sure wasn’t what we’d hope for. I have heard that some of the more complex, double level games sometimes have trouble loading/playing. I’m not sure if that was our trouble or not.
