Fine old flip phone.

Makes you forget how long phones (and their batteries) can last. If you don't need a smartphone then consider this one. Bought to have a backup in case they difficult to find and my old one of five years has a sticky "7" key from years of pocket lint buildup.

Install went well. Rugged and overbuilt for this car.

You don't need a class III for a Forester unless you are carrying a bike rack. If you do tongue weight is an issue and you want a class III for the high vertical forces and for the reduced wiggle of a 2" receiver. Wiring is a non-issue for this application. Just get one, no downsides exist.
