True TRX straps.
TRX straps are easier to adjust than the off brand straps I originally purchased, though much more expensive.

John Deere starter solenoid work-around.
Great, now my STX38 starts on the first try like it should. John Deere should make this available for free since their product fails to work properly without it. They should then have sued the solenoid manufacturer.
