A Real Workhorse

The charger arrived quickly and worked from the moment it was plugged in. Charged 50 batteries using the “Test” setting which took several days using the 500ma setting for their first charge. Very impressive. The cooling fan cycles on every once and awhile, as might be expected. I would recommend this unit to anyone charging Lithium Ion batteries… charges other types but I have not yet had that requirement.

A Lesson Learned

Rebuilt the vehicle but did not find out that the existing assembly was bad. Not good as this is the first component that is installed when re-installing the drive train. The input tube of the replacement unit was formed closer to a "U" shape instead of the "Lazy L" shown in the picture and caused difficulty when making the connection. Was able to open up the pre-formed tube somewhat without any apparent damage and all appears to be functioning correctly at this time. I would suggest the next customer review their new assembly before installation as it is quite difficult to correct an installed unit without taking a chance of damage. Otherwise, the quality appears to meet my expectations of an original GM replacement component.
