Cheaper Alternative For a Professional Hammer
Those looking for an alternative for a Stilleto, this is it! The design was made by a carpenter, but has been brought back to life by Vaughn, a truated company! swing
-Hickory Handle
-16oz ....days of swinging a 28oz framing hammer are long gone for me
-Titanium head
-Magnetic Nail Holder
-Nice Straight Claw
-Side Nail Puller
-Titanium extend down to reduce cracking the handle in case you miss and are swinging for the fences.
-Longer Handle (for framing)
-Overstrike Protection
Cons
-Hammer face is not replaceable
-Durability of the waffle face is still being tested
-Wood handle can be seen as a negative too, but it provides a traditonal feel to it and is made of hickory
This is a light framing hamer that is ergonomic and make to fit your hand. An example of this is the handle is cut and an angle so your pinky can grab nicely and you can hold the hammer all the way at the bottom. I was an athlete, so I like to tape my handle with some hockey tape, but that is not needed and is can be indexed easily. Based on the design, shock is reduced vs using a metal hammer like concrete guys do. Framers will love this hammer as the head is not curved, light, traditional feel, and durabilty. My elbow thanks Vaughn for making this hammer! For the price of a Stiletto hammer and replacement faces, I could buy another hammer and it should last me for the rest of my careeer and I will still come out ahead. If you can afford or justify the cost of a Stiletto, buy it! They are quality as well, but I can not justify the price for the remaining time I have left in the trades. Never cheap out on good tools and you are not doing that with this hammer.

Great Tape for the Price!
Stanly Fatmax is the tape I use all the time.
-It is stiff with a 11' standout extention before flapping down
-Coated with Mylar/Blade Armor to increase protection
-Retracts Nicely
-30' is a nice compromise for a 35' and works as a good all around tape measure
-Hooks on both sidews
-Good locking mechanism
-Belt clip is solid
-Survives drops
-Wide tape makes it easier to read the numbers
The only complaints I would have are:
-There are no scales on the backside
-The new design of the black part is slipperier than the original. While it may be more durable and will prevent peeling, it is just slick for me since I sweat a lot and have clamy hands.
