This item is advertised to work on Volvo's as are similar Chinese versions. I can tell you it won't work on the Volvo xc60 parking brake. As it turns out you do not need an electronic tool to replace your rear pads. Just remove solenoid from caliper and wind it back in. Then you will be able to compress piston in caliper.
