The HFi1000.1D is an excellent performer... 1 ohm stability and hi efficiency all wrapped up in a small package.

Typical RE subs... GREAT!!!
I also have owned them all, Hi to Low end. Let me tell you, RE builds their subs to survive ! For a entry level woofer these have everything you look for in a woofer twice the price, they only lack sewn tinsel leads. Normally not a problem with a woofer in this range,but put some power on it and you will see excursion and feel the SPL ! I've overpowered mine..." I have three 12's at .67 ohm on a LITTLE more than their rated power" ha!...and expected to destroy them months ago. The coils have smelled a little , but that is when I turn it down anyways. No joke, if you wanna run 1000/WMRS on a couple of entry subs , I don't think you could do much better for the price !!! I've owned SEX as well and the excursion that these deliver is astounding.A year ago my tinsel leads separated from the back of the cone on my SEX's and pulled on the coil bobbin shorting it and frying a RF Punch 500s... water under the bridge! But really the throw is something to see,and any bad luck I've had is expected, as I am VERY hard on subs, I'm pulling 150db + out of three $100 woofers! I highly recommend these to anyone that wants max performance, I push them waaaaayyy past their limits daily and they just deliver. Prodigious thermal capability plus 18mm xmax equals a winner, and their getting cheaper every month.

1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent wire, highly recommended... size it accordingly (example: 1/0 car audio wire = 2/0 royal excelene) and properly fuse it of course for any install.
