So far, simply outstanding!
I've used Chessmaster 6000 and 8000 in the past: these were plagued with bugs. I used Fritz 10 for a while, but missed the tutorials offered by Chessmaster. Finally bought CM Grandmaster Edition because it works on Windows 7. So far, I haven't encountered any glitches. Furthermore, I've found the tutorials to be outstanding. The database, opening book, and puzzles aren't perfect in their design, but so far I haven't had any noteworthy problems with them, either. In fact, I'm quite happy with the whole product. (There are many things I haven't tried yet, but I've no concerns.) Everything's on one DVD, and the DVD doesn't need to sit in my computer when I use the software - that's great, too. All in all, a significant upgrade! Not sure how its analyzing capabilities compare to those of Fritz, but its teaching material is far superior and should remain useful to most players for quite a long time.

My experience does not inspire confidence.
Belt quality is far inferior to my older Levi's leather belt. Box said size 36, but the belt inside is size 38. Was unable to exchange it. I know this is just one experience, but it left me wondering if this product is authentic.

Excellent production - packaging could be better
1 of 1 found this helpful The extended versions of the three Hobbit movies are excellent - especially "An Unexpected Journey." While some of the material is "Lord of the Rings" rehashed (and not as Tolkien wrote his original story), it is nevertheless a faithful adaptation and very well done - dramatic and beautiful to watch. There are a few pacing issues, given how long the movies are - but they are relatively minor. The extended material is most welcome. Also, I find that the three films only get better with repeated viewing. What disappointed me most is the packaging of the Blu-ray discs. It's beautiful, but cheap plastic. All three movie discs had detached from their platters when I opened it, with one of the spindles already broken. The set also lacks a guidebook to explain the contents of the nine discs. Seems like a poor effort compared with the Lord of the Rings DVDs. Fortunately, picture and sound, while not quite reference quality, are not poor efforts at all.
