Adapter rings that came with and were listed to fit my year dakota were to small in height and would cause my new speakers to hit the window tracks, there was also no hardware included to mount the speaker to this adapter ring. I reused my existing taller rings that were standard for the truck modified them by drilling them and found hardware in the shop that would work, The speaker magnets are slightly deeper and do still touch the window track but just. didn’t mind terribly since I am a mechanic but was annoyed that these didn’t quite fit for what they were listed for and was missing hardware to mount the way they suggested. Sound is great, solid 4 out of 5
