Beautiful, capable, quiet.
This is a great camera now at a very good price. This example arrived in very good condition and quickly. I'm a Canon man, so I now need to learn and use the fuji x system, but my first examples are good, and image quality is super. This is a poor man's Lieca rangefinder, and in many ways a better camera, i.e. fuji tenges are superb, I recommend tha f2.0 50mm for starters on this body. It focuses very quickly. I love the silence of this camera, the size in my hands, and the feel of a rangefinder with modern digital capacity. Now, all I need to do is learn it and us it. It's a great value for someone wanting to get into the rangefinder either for street shooting or quiet portraiture.

The War on Polio, as told by Sabastian Salgado and friends
Thirty or fifty years from now, this book and it’s writers will be more highly regarded. Salgado travelled the toughest parts of the poor world to document the extra ordinary effort to eradicate a nasty disease that crippled 350;000 children yearly. It’s still being waged, but the media have lost interest. Salgado uses his exceptional skill and esthetic taste to portray the children, mothers and men who provide the effort to pull off the remarkable logistic and humane work in the campaigns. His wife provides the design and layout to great effect. The result is a poetic book on vulnerability, sacrifice and tenacity. He captures it, and his wife places the photos in a great story telling sequence. He has just enough technical essays by accepted writers to fill out the story. This is a small beautiful book that captures the best parts of a massive multi year pilgrimage toward a better place for children and their families.

Simple, works great
This is my third Sonicare brush. This one is new, with a new brush head and charger. This is the basic Sonicare model and I find it is just fine for cleaning my teeth. My hygenist notices a positive difference in my teeth and gums, I'm 75, and I now greatly prefer this to manual brushing. I have been using aftermarket brushes for more than a year and find them excellent and much less expensive.
