JUST A GOOD & DEPENDABLE NOTEBOOK!
this is a BUSINESS CLASS notebook which is made a little better for harder use and easier repair. altho it has years ago been replaced by newer & better models, it still serves most needs with excellence, IMHO. i have purchased several of these for my church and school. functionality with Ubuntu or Windows 7 is great. the wireless is a bit on the weak side, but it always works. tho the silver paint scratches easily and looks ugly, these are hardy, dependable workers. ebay always has several hp 635s available for widely varying prices, depending upon mostly the hardware that is included. batteries for it are also readily available on ebay for a reasonable price (search for HP part number: 593553-001). also, it uses DDR3 ram, and you can load it with up to 8gb thru the removable door on the underside. if you need a good, dependable, no-frills
notebook that is sturdy enough to travel as well as use at home, this may well be the one to buy! my average rating would be 4.5 stars, but a good & solid 4-stars for sure!

all things considered, it's a good buy.
it could've been a little less expensive, but i only needed one. it is kind of unique. i have not used it with an antenna, but it is so simple i can't imagine it not working. thank you.
