Crazy maneuverable but top heavy.
3 of 4 found this helpful With most of the weight being supported by your arm instead of resting on the floor and this machine's desire to pull itself forward on carpets, fatigue can set in quickly. However, with it's maneuverability and ability to drop flat, this swiveling, low-slung baby gets into areas my conventional upright would never dream of attempting. I took it for a test spin right out of the box and couldn't believe how fast the dust cup filled up to capacity! Not so much because of it's rather small size, but the amount of dirt and dog hair it picked up was mind blowing! It performed better than expected on carpet but where it really shined was on hard tile. Nothing was kicked out or blown away. With one pass, all dirt and debris was... just gone! I haven't tried out any of the attachments yet, but if they're half as effective and well designed as the power head, this is a serious winner! I give it four stars overall because of the top heaviness of this platform.

Solid and substantial
I bought this kinda sight unseen so needless to say I was pleasantly surprised at what I found when I opened the box. This thing is solid, heavy and well built! Definitely exceeded my expectations and way better than previous bench vises I have owned in the past. A most welcomed addition to my workbench.

Simple to use. No mess and very effective.
1 of 1 found this helpful Last night I put some garlic chunks and olive oil in a small steel bowl and with the "S" blade I made a smooth garlic puree. Then I brushed some over a few slices of cheese pizza before reheating in the toaster oven. OMG! So easy to transform everyday pizza into a garlicky treat! I find this tool superb for quick, mess free blending of sauces and juices as well. Just keep the blending head submerged while using. Lifting it up will send stuff flying everywhere. My only complaint thus far, and it's a minor one, is the speed control dial could be more tactile as it was with the older version. Having it's shape blend into the handle looks cool, but it makes it harder to grip and turn. Nevertheless, I bought this for my wife to replace an older KitchenAid stick blender that she bought before she even met me sometime in the early to mid 80s. That unit performed admirably for many years but as with all mechanical appliances, things began to wear down. After doing a lot of research it was evident that we would be best to stick with KitchenAid. We got ours at a great price with many accessories included and a neat storage box too! Tough, powerful, versatile and durable. That's how I would sum up this great little gadget!
