I bought it because they are not available over the counter anymore.
I don't have an opinion yet, as I have not used it. I bought the item because they are not in production any more, & it is still in the original Thompson Center packaging.

The last time we used the RV, my wife had to hold the water hose in the mouth of the water tank opening. This iten inserts down inside the filler tubm
I haven't used it yet, but will next week I'm sure it will do what it is designed for.

Very good item for the price I paid for it.
As long as a person keeps good "C" cell batteries on hand, this distress light should last indefinitely. Now, I won't have to constantly purchase new hand held flares & signal gun cartridges every 3 years when the expiration date is up, even if they are still in new condition, to satisfy Coast Guard regulations.
