well as usual the audio quality is excellent and for this one the ear fit is good (unlike the h300), but whether you consider this a design flaw or not is it uses std usb. Personally i prefer to stay away from anything but usb mini ie usb-c usb std etc to keep all my charging cables alike
the other flaw (design) is way too many switches so whether you like the idea of an on off switch it is not intuitive which one that is, ie holding the hangup button for power on or off is somewhat standard on say the s305. I can see though that would add expense to the design.
However i really like the ear fit unlike the earlier h300, but i would have lived with the AAA battery as opposed to the ruggedized charging. In fact the audio quality on the h300 seemed a little nicer

minimalist phone
1 of 1 found this helpful for long battery life relatively large screen at a small price this phone can't be beat. The only beef i have with it is the pocket dialing which i minimized by deleting the call logs periodically, and i am sure there are adjustment to "lock the keyboard".. Other models of the Blu allowed programming the functions tied to the pointer, but it turns out you can shortcut by entering "menu" then a numeric. This numeric is also a shortcut into any any menu.
The phone hardly ever needs a charge, and compared to the other "tanks", and the janet i've had the firmware seems to function better when the usb is conected to the laptop from the usb. Although there is no utility or built in way to back up the sim card, address boot etc. that i have found. My next purchase may be the Dash or something like that, but the Tank's small size with long battery life, and relative simplicity in this world of over gadetized phones is admirable.
In general Blu products seem like a much cheaper alternative to the SamSungs' apple's and other major brand names. I am more interested in reliability repeatability than "branding". What is a little confusing is all the different models they have at the low end. So for a little more money the Bu diva flex 2.4 might be a better alternative, but it had a different battery (they all do), and of course more moving parts.
I have tried many bluetooth ear pieces with this model and they perform adequately but not exceptionally which may be a feature [limitation] of bluetooth 2 :)

single switch for turning on and hanging up. The audio quality could be a little better and lack of volume control makes device simpler to use, but seems to give more base than treble range
the 2047 does not seem to be much of an improvement. I also use the Jabra Extreme and Mini which both have a off/on switch and seem to fit my ear a little better
