Flawless Audrey
Early Audrey Hepburn is very entertaining, sure it's fluffy, but we need this type of film making to entertain us now to remind us of what life used to be like. There were serious issues but they were handled with bright sophistication and humor. Not realistic. Who says it has to be? The imagination is worth the ride!

Good showtunes
Not bad quality for 1952 remaster. Some songs are famous. You need to be able to appreciate the schmaltz of some tunes, but the funny ones are great. "Shopping Around" and "Flattery" are very fun. Great overture. I have the conductor score of the overture and it is thrilling to play it on the piano. Give it a whirl!

Sequel is better than the first
Marjorie Rambeau's grammatical slips/twists are hilarious. The plot is more engaging than the original. The drunk pilot is there, but less present and sad. Ms. Rambeau is completely entertaining and holds the interest throughout the film. More than that, she is wonderful. I did not want the film to end.
The graphic on the CD is wrong as it depicts Marie Dressler of the original Tugboat Annie. The quality of the CD is very good. I saw it on TCM and glad it is available. Very much fun. Buy it!
