Not a waste of time...
I was one of the (un)fortunate few to receive the ole 1% charging message on my dell chromebook. I tried everything (trust me, everything) and nothing worked. 1%, no percent until full and an amber flashing "battery error" LED on the side of the unit. I had the thing apart, i did the battery test in Crosh, I had it apart 7 more times, et cetera. Nothing worked. This battery arrived and whamo! Immediately began charging. In all fairness to the chromebook itself, i bought it refurbed so who knows the battery condition going in. at any rate, this solved a huuuge problem for me and i'm overjoyed! I got my little buddy back. :)

Sure wish these lasted longer!
The keyboard that came on my gateway was running sans a LOT of keys after a few years. I finally figured out replacements could be had but, as my as I type, I am starting to lose them again in less than 1 yr. so I bought another. These are great when they work but the problem is that if a key pops off, it's pretty much off for good. I'm currently running the ] key for my v key because it busted. Oh well, great computers, I guess I'll just keep replacing the keyboard!
