Cheap product
The new diaphragm design looks upgraded and much more sturdy than the previous G3 model. However, I have been forced to replace the diaphragm 5 times in less than a year. The yellow "rib" that is now affixed to the diaphragm is now the weak point where it is connected to the thinner diaphragm. It constantly tears in the same location.l, which is at the edge of the rib. This part is also extremely expensive to replace if purchasing from pool stores and most vendors on line. Terrible quality part and even worse design.
