Looks good, but haven't tried it yet

I've been making my living working on torches for almost 50 years. I've done a lot of boro sculpture, but rarely use color. What I received looks like I'll be having some fun with it. Value looks good, based on weight and what I've seen from other suppliers.

A mystery?

I haven't used any of the product yet. I have mixed feelings about purchasing x-acto products, the #11 blades specifically, right now, as the quality of blades has been questionable at times, and many reviews are 'old', and not much help. The product I ordered, gambling based on the package photo (hoping they were "old stock") arrived NOT in the package as shown with the ad, but with new packaging. NOT old stock. The new packaging IS marked X811, so I'm not sure what I have, but I will try them out, and use them, when I run out of the stock I'm currently using. I opened the box, and the blade edges look to be in good condition. I will find out more when I start using them.
