Silk Thread
I have no idea why as I was learning to sew in school the class did not discuss thread quality. For years I thought all thread was the same, If it was on sale or just cheap all the better. I decided to make a silk gift for a new bride & the owner of the fabric store said I should use silk thread. That seemed like a good idea. However, she didn't carry the color I needed so I purchased it on eBay. I have started using it for my embroidery & all of my sewing. The finished product is so professional. It always makes a perfect stich.
The silk thread is much stronger than other treads. The colors of the silk thread don't bleach out or look faded.

Small Figures Perfect in Elegant Curio Cabinet
A very elegant curio cabinet. The wood is in excellent condition and the case is well made. Most antique clock cases are larger than this New Haven, however, it is the ideal size for my my mice. My grandmother collected Wee Forest Folk. My previous curio cabinet overwhelmed the small figures. In this smaller case they sit closer to the door and can easily be seen.

Has a sparkle not found in craft supplies
This Diamond Dust has a great sparkle and a nice pure white color ~ I have started working on my Christmas craft projects. Now that I have retired I wanted to raise the bar on my many years of crafting so I will be using the diamond dust to put snow on the tips the of fabric Christmas tree's branches. The diamond dust adds a realism that the ordinary craft snow does not have.
The only reason I said it was not a good value is I'm cheap and totally unaware of the amount of material in other weights & measures than Oz. I am an older senior and the price for such a small bag shocked me and my expectations. However, I should say my daughter & granddaughter thought the Diamond Dust was a great value.
