The Best Since 1992

First found this tool back in 1992 for a large project and have been using it ever since. It's light weight and easy to use because it is spring loaded. Quality is great but had to replace it because a co-worker didn't know that to open the tool, you need to squeeze it to automatically release the catch. He pulled it open and broke the spring catch. Not bad for a 25 year old tool. Good excuse to get a new one! Thanks

Solid, compact, Dewalt reliability, Great value

I was looking to replace my older Makita 12v compact drill, driver and impact drivers. I was considering a compact Bosch but 12v but decided to try this DCF601 instead. I found it to be compact, solid, well made and a great value. I liked its features and how powerful it was in such a small package. It is a great replacement and addition to my other tools. I am also looking at purchasing a DCD701 too!

My EDC choice, 24/7. Lightweight, reliable, Great little 12 VDC drill!

This is a great EDC (every day carry) for me. Light weight, small, powerful, reliable, a great value and well made! It's a Makita!! Enough said! This will replace one that has been used daily for over 10 years. I had contemplated getting the newer brushless subcompact set but when I looked at what I use it for, this is my baby!
