Craftsman 31072.00 Table Saw Miter Gauge Assembly for CRAFTSMAN

Miter gauge with adjustable bar

PRO: Exactly as described; Has several small allen head screws for bar width adjustment-great feature. Protractor markings pretty accurate. Bought this for my Steel City cabinet saw that went out of business. Fits perfectly. CON: Tools that made these show noticeable wear/warp in the casting. That is, a bit lumpy but didn't affect accuracy. Paint could be better, but it probably has been sitting on a shelf for years. Took a while to receive (over 10 days). Overall: good value for the money + bar adjustments really help reduce play in bar.

Easier to use than a full size saw

I originally bought the larger (7 1/4") version of this saw. Found the blade was on the wrong side for me (I'm right handed). Sold the big brother and bought this one which is easier for me to see the cutting line. Light & able to cut 2X4's, it's a great addition to my cordless tools. I also do a lot of trim work, and this is easier to handle than a full size saw. Have lots of other Dewalt cordless tools, so I'm a bit biased. Very good value for the money.

Tool is great! Soft bag not so much!

Well balanced & makes it a whole lot easier for trim & assembly! Really could use a hard case. Soft case gets way too dirty & flimsy.
