What a pleasant surprise!
1 of 1 found this helpful I never set my sights overly high when buying anything on eBay. The risk of being skimmed, if not actually scammed is high. However, I was surprised and pleased to find that these lights were really nice. The design and manufacture are well executed. The only thing I might have liked was an on/ off switch.

Power shot idiosyncraticism
I own various Canon cameras from EOS 1 mk 3, EOS 40, EOS 550 with a selection of lenses from 100mm macro through f1.4 50mm prime to 300mm telethrough a selection of others. They are probably ALL better at doing their job than the Powershot SX 50 HS. But I am on holiday, with the Powershot held easily in my hand and it is so convenient, from small insects on a flower close up, to a bird in a tree 100 m away, to video of waves crashing onto the shore and lots, lots more. Drawback? Just one. It's all menu driven so can be slow to set up the picture. And it clicks, and whirrs and thinks and misses that expression on the dog's face that you might have caught. Value for money? Yes, absolutely.

Lightning cable is a bit too tender.
3 of 3 found this helpful Yes, it’s easy to use and yes it’s better than a usb style cable that only fits one way, but I find I am having to replace them far too often. I have tried textile covered ones, long ones, short ones. It makes little difference. I think the damage may be done when I uncouple it from the phone.
