The beacon is virtually identical to the original. They are fragile but, the have to be in order to function. Great look and functionality.

Unexpected quality.
Having played in all kinds of bands with a variety of lighting I was shocked at how cool these lights are. Ease of assembly and operation is the norm. Within a very short time I have become an expert in the operation of these lights. What makes them special to me? The brightness of the lights are brighter than expected. There are no big cans. The choice of lighting combination is superb. The lighting stand is strong and solid. A series of lighting combinations comes preset and obtained with the push of a button. A sound button on the foot pad activates a microphone in the back of the bar controlled by a sensitivity button that will blow your mind with it's ease of response. This set is plain and simply fun!! I have yet to use it on a gig (just got it yesterday) so the longevity has not yet been tested.
