Another quality Victron Product
Victron products always seem to deliver in my experience. Purchased to utilize in my vehicle for running a Starlink setup when travelling. Setup was straightforward and easy with good results. The unit is very quiet from my initial observations. I've utilized a number of Victron products in the past including AC and DC 12V chargers. All have worked perfectly and the 5-year warranty is reassuring.

Economical heating choice
1 of 1 found this helpful The Swift Ecotherm heater was an economical choice to add heating to our caravan. I like that it didn't require an additional fuel source(diesel/LPG) to install or operate. It also runs on 240V when you are connected to power which saves on fuel usage.
Installation was fairly straightforward although the installation kit would benefit from a bit more hose being included. My caravan is a 20'6" internal model so not the largest on the market by any means. I experienced a number of leaks during the installation process much like a number of other reviews I have read. I believe most were caused by not having quite enough hose to allow for proper bends when connecting the system. I eventually got the system connected leak free with all of the original parts so don't believe the parts are the problem.
The system operates as advertised and puts out a fair amount of heat. We haven't tested in cold weather yet but believe it will be effective. I found the system a bit noisy, particularly the pump which emits a vibration/noise. I've greatly reduced this by placing compressed foam under the pump and building a box enclosure around the system under the bed. This will protect the heater and pump as well from other items stored under the bed. The noise is mostly fan generated now which you would have with any source of heating. The noise is significantly less than the air conditioner which we have used for heat in the past and much more effective heating.
All in all I am pretty happy with our choice and look forward to giving it a good test during our trip to Tasmania next year.

Excellent caravan 12v fan!
Lot's of cooling power with very little noise! Easy to install and low power draw as well.
