This game is addicting
1 of 1 found this helpful Like most racing games, this game takes concentration and you need to listen to your navigator and learn the commands. Being American, it was different but easy to pick up once you make a few mistakes the hard way. This game is an absolute blast. I use manual shifting and its so challenging. The car sounds are top notch. Just enough realism, and just enough arcade to make it fun. This game has the right balance. No need to lay on the gas pedal the entire time. You have to feel the fluidity of the road and listen to your navigator.
i had Colin Mcrae 3, years ago, but it wasnt backwards compatible with xbox 360. This game is, though. If you have xbox360, this game will work.

"Gripping, Captivating,....." all that Critic lingo
1 of 1 found this helpful Well, this was one of my favorite movies from back on VHS. MY gf just got a new 46" Hd tv and Bluray, and I said to myself "Hey, I bet The Rock on bluray would look great on this TV". SO I bought my first bluray-The Rock. I popped it in and was stunned to see the quality of both the sight and sound of The Rock on her tv. Simply amazing! This movie is my absolute favorite movie right now.
The Casting is great. Sean Connery makes a "007" like comeback showing the young whipper-snappers that he still has what it takes. Nick Cage is excellent and his wife is super hot. THe score/soundtrack along with all sound effects is appropriate and top-notch.
All in all, this movie has it all: action + hot chick + cool guns + great visuals (that aren't all CG) + great set + sequences + comedy + cast + etc.
Possible spoiler follows****
I do love the last scene where nick cage has to inject himself with the syrum, then passes out, he comes-to, and realizes that he has to pop the green smoke flare before he gets blown up. He drops to his knees and waves the smoke right when someone spots it and orders to abort the bomb drop. THe music at the moment will run chills up your spine! Don't let anybody tell you that the score isn't important. The soundtrack illustrates every mood/feeling experienced throughout the movie. THats all I got. Love this Movie.
