Bring Back the 7500
4 of 4 found this helpful This product absolutely missed the mark when you compare it to the one it replaced (the 7500). The partnership with Google was a big mistake. Now we have to wade thru all of the Google stuff which is just so much nonsense and very unwanted. The remote is a lot less complicated but also harder to use because of fewer buttons. I purchased because my 7500 started having recording problems. So sorry I could not get another. I believe this unit will be the death of this product from CM altogether. There are now other units coming on the market that might more match what the 7500 was. I will most likely end up purchasing something else. So sad!

Adjusts to local weather conditions.
I have rentals in AZ with fruit trees on the rental properties. So I have 4 of these installed now and they all show up in my phone app. No matter where I am in the world I can adjust the watering if needed. Do not really have to do it much since the watering adjusts itself according to the local weather conditions. No monthly or yearly fee. Real nice.

Have installed many of these in my houses and rentals.
Have used this product in all my houses and rentals. You do need to check the screen on occasion for lint if using for a dryer but if you have ever had rats or squirrels invade your house you know that this very small inconvenience is trivial. I have had both. I like this one because the screen is heavy duty compared to others and also it has a robust and easy way to remove the screen for cleaning. Another review says the dryer plugged up the screen after two dryings. This has not been my experience at all. Once a month does it for me. I would suggest their dryer lint screen is most likely needing replacement or that they are drying something beyond normal clothing.
