Best 35mm lens I've ever used.
1 of 1 found this helpful Very sharp lens that's excellent for isolating subjects against an out-of-focus background. Great for people pictures.
Somewhat heavy, and I won't use it wide open for every shot -- but the large maximum aperture comes in handy at times.
If your budget won't stretch to include this very expensive lens, the 1.8G version is almost as good and costs less than half as much. I've used both, and they're both excellent.
