Gritty London DCI Tom Thorn gets to grips with the underworld.
If you have ever read any Rebus books by Ian Rankin then here we have a gritty / stubborn London DCI Tom Thorn. His side kick Dave Holland keeps the pace going rather like Lewis to Morse . All the books in the series are gripping with the odd twist and we follow the ups and downs of the life in London . In this story we end up in Spain following a crimminal who has changed his identidly but getting him is proving difficult. Excellent story line which is as good at it gets.

Get That Heart Pumping
2 of 2 found this helpful Well my brother wanted this to help him get into shape (He hasn't got an Ebay account) so I sorted it for him. Now I bought one of these 20yrs ago for my Ex wife and boy have times moved on.
This one folds up neatly when not in use and is of far better build quality but just to explain......the old one I bought for the Ex had a Red seat which moved up and down on runners. You pulled the cords and off you went. Now I remember her using it when I heard a scream , so I went to investigate and fell on the floor laughing . She had slipped off of the red vinyl seat and her back bumpers had gone on the springs which had clamped her skin and would not release as she had let go of the cords. She had some great marks where the springs had attacked her......brilliant fun releasing her after I had nearly stopped laughing .
This item is far better in design thus I shall Not be called to help my brother although I still laugh when he mentions how good this item is.

Lightweight slip mat
I bought this Non slip mat in a roll as my local shop had run out. This item is more expensive and shorter in length plus thinner.
I am using this to stop the covers on my new leather settee from slipping down and my cats from ruining the leather .It works great and as it is under the "Throws" you can not see them and it saves me forever pulling the covers up but there are other uses like stopping your plate slipping or tools on a bench I suppose.
