Awesome Lens For The Money
I'll start off by saying that, no, this lens isn't as sharp as the Canon 300mm f/2.8, but I'll also say that it doesn't make nearly as big of dent in your wallet plus it offers the versatility of a zoom all in one, large, heavy package.
I debated over getting this lens after I realized my Canon 100-400L just wasn't cutting it when it came to separating the subject from the background. This lens fit the budget at the time so I picked up a used copy. This had me a bit wracked knowing how Sigma is with autofocus issues (back focusing and front focusing), but this lens seems much less affected by this than other Sigma lenses. The sharpness is fine, the reach is wonderful and the wide 2.8 aperture allows for some great nature shots, especially when your subject is close to the background (such as a bird in a tree). The 2.8 aperture also allows for use of teleconverters (420mm f/4 with 1.4x, 600mm f/5.6 with 2x) allowing you to get closer while still retaining autofocus. And speaking of focus, the focus speed of this lens is very good. I never found myself missing a shot because of slow focusing.
Besides nature, I used this lens for possibly its most widest use: sports. I shot arena football with this lens in deplorable lighting and it didn't even phase it. The focus speed was enough to keep up with the AI servo in the camera even when tracking fast moving players not more than 20 feet away. When the action moves, the zoom allows you to catch up without moving your feet (huge advantage with this lens vs. Canon's fast telephoto primes).
The downsides of this lens are minimal. If you want to be inconspicuous, this isn't the lens for you. It's longer than the Canon 300mm f/2.8. And due to its size, you might have expected it to have weight too, and you'd be right. At nearly 6 lbs, it's hand-holdable and carryable, but I wouldn't want to do it for more than a few hours.
All in all, if you find a good copy of this lens, you simply can't beat the price for what it offers. It won't disappoint and when used to its fullest, will provide you with some great images, whatever it is you like to shoot.

Most complete set of Monty Python's Flying Circus around, a great value!
If you're reading the reviews of this set, you obviously know the greatness that is the Monty Python troop. Hilarious sketches, unfrogettable punchlines and more come in this complete set of some of the best of British comedy. Sure there may be a few niggles here and there with the originals vs these or one skit was left out, but really? Where else can you get anything near this complete for the same price?! Highly recommended!

Wish I got these years ago
I've had multiple pairs of oakleys and a few other brands of sunglasses and the quality, clarity and visibility on these are phenomenal! They seem to have a rose colored tint to them so everything red really stands out, but all other colors are vibrant too. I wish I got these years ago. Maui Jim gained a fan and customer for life with these!
