NEW Red T Style 6 String Electruc Guitar Maple Fret Board with Gig Bag
    Mar 27, 2018
    Excelent value for the cost
I thought I would have to do a lot of work on the neck, but maybe I was just lucky, but I didn't have to adjust the truss rod or set intonation. Just a small adjustment of the string height for the .08 string set I installed. I can't say that every guitar will turn out like mine, but I saved hundreds of dollars and have the tele sound I was looking for.

    Better than I expected
I was not expecting very much, but was really surprised at how well this headset works. One nice feature is that when I turned off the headset while the receiver was still on, there was no noise. It seems to have a built-in squelch circuit. The battery charge lasted the entire band practice. I also own a Sampson Aerobic headset system, and this unit is lighter and sounds just as good. I wish this unit was available on multiple channels so I could use several of them. It is a great unit despite the very low price.

    With a little work....
What to do to make this a good playing guitar: 1. All of the frets will have sharp edges. Use a small file to smooth the sharp edges. It will take about 1/2 hour. 2. Loosen all the strings and use the allan wrench to pull the neck flat. You will have to make some minor adjustments later after the bridge saddles have been adjusted. 3 : adjust the height of the strings. Be aware that the allan wrench that came with the guitar will not fit, so don't try to force it. Just go get the right size. Easiest way is to go buy a set of small metric allan wrenches. I got a set that looks like jewlers tools for several bucks. Adjust the strings one at a time as low as you can without the string buzzing on the frets. Don't get too concerned yet, you will have to adjust again during the intonation setting. Take yoiur time, loosen the string during adjustments. You don't want to strip out the allan screw drive socket. After the string height has been set, move on to intonation. 4. to set the intonation, start with the lighter strings, E and B. Use a tuner. tune the string. Next, check the tuning at the 5th fret, and also at the 8th, and 12th frets. If the notes go sharp as you go up the neck, you will have to loosen the strings, and adjust the string saddle back to make the string slightly longer. repeat the process until the strings register in tune as you go up the neck. If you move the saddle back too far, the string will go flat as you go up the neck. It will tak some time to do all three string saddles. However, if you don't do this, then the guitar will sound like a crappy cheapo piece of junk. 5 After the intonation is set, you can make a final height adjustment of each string saddle for a clean sound. Keep in mind that when you lower or raise the saddle, you will need to make a slight adjustment to the intonation again. Finally, the volume and tone controls are mis-wired. You can tell right away because the volume change occurs during the first 1/4 turn of the volume control instead of a linear change as you turn the control. Just remove the 2 screws holding the volume/tone control assembly. The correct wiring can be found on the fender website. Basically, the mistake is easy to correct. Keep in mind that the solder job will be very crappy, so buy a solder sucker for several bucks to remove the factory solder from the terminals. Buy some 60/40 tin-lead electronic solder, and buy a small tin of resin solder paste. Use a 25-35 watt soldering iron for the job. OR, go to your local music store and have their technician do the wiring correction. Bad solder jobs will make the guitar a piece of crap. However, after making all of these repairs and setups, you will have a great guitar. I use mine on gigs, and it sounds great. As good as a real tele in my opinion. Sorry I didn't take pictures. I estimate that a good guitar tech will charge around $200 to do all of this for you, but it will still be better than an import fender of squire as they will have the same defects that will need to be corrected. Good luck and have fun....
