Bergeon 7825 - great springbar removal/installation tool for Rolex Explorer II 216570
5 of 5 found this helpful This tool works great to remove and install springbars on the Rolex Explorer II 216570. By allowing you to firmly grasp both sides simulaneously it, it makes it easy to remove and install the bracelet without scratching the lugs.
Note: a high level of care must of course be taken, but this tool makes it much easier. I start by carefully lining up one side and seating it firmly on the springbar, then carefully line up and seat the other side. Once both sides of tool firmly contacting the springbar, hold the watch firmly, pinch to release springbar and slide bracelet free.
Due to the small size of the gripping surface and the springbar location, it is a good idea to use a loupe or other magnification to ensure good visibility of what you're doing.
