Blown away!

I needed a bass for some recording at my home studio. I figured this might be OK if did a bunch of setup and artwork to it. How good could it be for the low price? I was absolutely blown away when it got here. The neck is great! The frets didn't need any work and it's more chunky than the Ibanez I used to have. The body looks great and the biggest surprise is that the pickups sound pretty good. This is an amazing value. I did have to tweak the truss rod and lower the bridge. It was setup very high, but I got the action very low without any buzzing. The only negative I found is that the body is lightweight making it neck heavy. They cut some corners on the neck sanding which is rougher than I'm used to, but it's not bad and I kind of like it. You can also see some sanding streaks under the paint if you look really close. It's an amazing value at this price and I would have loved to have something this nice at 3x the price in 1987 and 1987 dollars. It's the golden age of cheap instruments!

Works with angled headstocks

Very nice case. Fits my Ibanez SC Classic well. It has plenty of room for the angled headstock and is a tight fit at the body.
