This temperature control works fine and was easy to install.
Is working as designed. Maintainins temperature in freezer around 0 F after increasing the room temperature in the basement from 46 F to 55 F. In the cold environment (46 F) the compressor didn't turn on until the freezer temperature got up to 22 F - very curious behavior. This is a 13 yr old refrigerator/freezer

So far so good.
I purchased 2 of these, one for my Lenovo R60, and one for my wife's T500. Time will tell how good they stand up. I've had trouble with AC adapters in the past - their weakest point seems to be the strain relief at the computer end breaks down, and the wires are exposed and eventually break. I hope these last. We'll see.

Stapled carpet to pontoon boat trailer runners.
Worked well for stapling carpet covering on pontoon boat trailer rails. Should not rust out in outdoor & wet environments.
