Fit for purpose

After using another brand that split/cracked I bought one of these - I’ve been using it on my 2600kg caravan for two years and it is still solid. I just bought two more for jacking up the back of my Ute when staying hitched.

An excellent device

After much searching I decided to purchase this compass for my 4X4. It was worth every cent! When I opened the parcel it was obvious that this was a precision instrument and not a "toy". Now mounted in the truck (on my dash) it has a nice design and looks good. I've driven over 1000 klms since installing it and am very happy with it's performance. The directions are easily visible - even when pitching and yawing - and the directions are true (NB I have not bothered connecting up the 12v light). It is important to read the instructions regarding installation and placement. I used a few small pieces of double sided tape that allowed me to adjust the location and finally settle on its final place (it took me three attempts to find the ideal placement for minimal interference). I highly recommend this compass for use in an auto.

Very good, but be sure you have 15amp outlets

This is a great product and I will get heaps of use out of it. I could not use it out of the box without upgrading my standard cigarette lighter outlets (all were 10 amp) in my vehicle. Make sure to check your vehicle manual for 15amp plugs.
