Stylish vintage watch that works really well and looks stunning!
1 of 1 found this helpful First off I have to say this watch looks gorgeous. I have a few vintage watches but this is one gets a lot of comments. I had heard horror stories about buying vintage watches from India but at least in my case this is absolutely not true, when I first got it, it was a bit hit-or-miss about accuracy but after taking it to a good watch maker for a cleaning and regulation (which wasn't expensive this is a simple watch mechanism) it keeps excellent time and is very reliable. I have to mention again about how it looks, gorgeous hand painted glow numbers like a 1930's watch and gold hands that glow, and the glow in the dark is actually quite good too!
Fun anecdote, I live in USA and there are a lot of people from India and Pakistan here, and they see it and they are like "oh! it's an HMT pilot, oh my god I want one!" If there's been more of these sold it may be because I've told them exactly where I got mine, and have told friend's who asked where they could get one.

The name is quite appropriate, these things ROCK!!
Got these today, took them out of the beautiful hard case they come in and connected the cord, which is very nice and has a great solid tight jack on the headphone side. Plugged them into my 1W +1W headphone amplifier and oh my god, their name is well deserved, seriously these ROCK! Whoever said these are bass shy, isn't using a powerful enough headphone amplifier, these have bass for days with a proper amp, you could probably even increase bass response by adding some thin dense foam to the inside of the driver enclosures. The build quality is excellent and so is the sound, they are absolutely right about these being as good as more expensive headphones, at least in my opinion, these are an absolutely excellent value.

The best rear speakers you can get for older GM cars!
I have had these for quite awhile now and I love them, they replaced the rear speakers in my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 4 door and installing them was really easy using speaker connector adapters, and they install with what are big springs on that car, you don't need tools to remove them.
As for sound quality, they are EXCELLENT! I actually removed the sub-woofer I'd had in it's trunk, I just didn't need it and it was taking up trunk space, And for long term reliability, I've had mine for a few years now and they have been great, I wish Dual would make more stuff like these.
