Best hack ever for building a RAID without breaking the bank.
I use these drives in my OWC ThunderBay 8. They perform wonderfully, and the 5 year warranty speaks to the long life that these drives have ahead of them. Been using them for about 6 months now with absolutely no issues.
The write speeds in a Raid 0 configuration are faster than most of my USB 3.2 SSD's.
I do have an added layer of security by backing up my raid with a service called Backblaze. It's $7/month, and I back up my entire RAID monthly.
