Love it!
More expensive than a Roku or Amazon Firestick, but offers more bang for the buck than either of those products.

Great when it works
This thing shorted out the transformer (16V) in my doorbell the first time I hooked it up. Had to have an electrician come out and install a new transformer and reinstall the Ring Video Pro ($140). It ran okay for 3-4 days then went offline. Had to reset the circuit breaker it was on and go thru the setup process all over again which takes 2-3 minutes. It ran for 2 days before doing the same thing and me having to repeat the same process. It is up and running again and has been for 3 days. I have my fingers crossed. I googled this problem online and it seems to a fairly common occurrence. Some folks have been able to wangle an exchange from Ring, some haven't and have asked for a refund, and others like me are hoping it's just a bug that will go away. When the unit is running, it performs as advertised. The video is crystal clear and it is easy to adapt the motion settings in conjunction with the configuration of my front porch. In all honesty, I cannot recommend it because of the problems I've had, but will admit not all people are going to run into the same thing I did. Go online and read reviews and complaints before deciding to buy.
