Ace Wrist Wrap and the Futuro Wrist Wrap: Which is better? For Who?
The Ace wrap compares favorably to its closest competition, the Futuro. Both are well made, fully functional, and durable enough to last for years. The Ace is larger in all dimensions, including thicknness, and would probably be a better choice for larger applications. The Futuro would definitely be more comfortable for smaller and/or younger people. However, both are capable of performing all of the tasks addressed by this type of product. I have several of both; I tend to take them off and forget where I left them, so having extras eliminates any problems. I weigh well over 200 pounds, and find the Ace a better choice, but both can definitely do the job.

Endure the dry opening, and the process will will pay huge dividends.

Oh, so many years ago, friend after friend told me of this wonderful book. Reviews told of its insights and values. It became standard reading in college literature classes. So, I purchased a copy, and tried to read it. It dragged on and on and left me bored and annoyed. So I sold it to a used book store.
A few years later, after several more friends had insisted that it was a great book, I bought another copy, and after fifty pages, sold it to a used book store.
Many more years later, when the book was in its eighteenth or twentieth printing, I decided I must endure and read it cover to cover. I pushed on and on and on and on, committed to enduring beyond my earlier frustration point at around fifty pages. I endured beyond more frustration and more frustration and... around page 100 the writer seemed to find his stride, or I found my patience with his style, and the story became thoroughly engrossing. By page 200, I knew I must read this a second time, to incorporate the opening elements which had been such a torture, into the narrative which was now irresistable. By page 400, I wanted a hardbound copy.
Since then, I've kept a few extra copies around, to give to friends who might enjoy it. I'm certainly no fanatic, just an enthusiastic advocate.
The praises heaped upon this book are well deserved. Part narrative, part philosophy, adventure, travelogue, phsychological suspense, intellectual tail chasing and truth testing, and the exploration described as "an inquiry of values."
Endure the dry opening, and the investment will certainly pay the best kind of dividends.

Bitterroot Guitar Strap, a fine product at a reasonable price.
I can think of three basic criteria for any purchase: Quality, Value, and Function.
The Bitterroot strap is made with fine materials, assembled with care and precision. It is priced at or slightly lower than better-known brands, making it a better value for your money. It is obviously very strong, with reasonably thick leather ends which should last for years. It does have one drawback: the chrome tanning process used on the leather leaves a slight smell. Two or three days stored in the open air (or in your garage) should allow the leather to shed itself of the tanning remains..
I've used mine for a few days, and can't overstate my satisfaction with this guitar strap.
