Everyone should have one!
1 of 1 found this helpful My stainless steel MetroVac that I bought several years ago has gotten a lot of use, and is still going strong, so when I identified the need for a second unit to keep my electronic devices clean, the DataVac was the obvious choice. It's small, light and powerful, like the MetroVac, but has additional features - a "blower" mode, a set of special-purpose attachments and an extension hose - that make it easier to deal with crevices, awkward angles and irregular surfaces where dust tends to accumulate.
My only quibble would be with the brush attachment, which has rather stiff bristles. I found a horse hair brush that works better and is gentler on high-gloss plastic and painted surfaces.
That said, the DataVac is well designed and constructed (in the USA), and works great. Everyone should have one!
