works well but need small wedges maybe--great price
Tried it on a 2X 12" board I had used 5 years ago with another lumber maker I've lost, but because the log was small, it was hard to keep level, but when I finally got wedges in it, it worked fine,and cut me a nice plank about 2" wide-- and even through out it--should have just used a 2" x 5" board and would have been easier, but didn't have one handy--I'll use it again with that and will work better, no fault of the device--good price for what it does. I had a 1X 4" board attached to the side of that 2 x 12" so I was close to what I needed--it did wiggle slightly, for most 1 x 4" in boards you know are about 1/4" shy of that 4", so had to make up some little wedges to make it tight when cutting--keep that in mind when using this if you try just a 2x4--get a 2x6 and rip or use wedges.and lift the whole unit when wanting to advance it down the log.

One of the 2 best of Bill Gaither's Homecoming Gatherings
One of 2 that are our favorites amongst the Gaither Homecoming Gatherings--Joy in the Camp the other. We have about 30, but some only in DVD, so it is nice now to also have the CD so we can listen while working around the house doing other things.
I've actually played this DVD 5 times this week, and just listened to it after working outdoors in 103 degree heat--so much fun to relax after a shower and hear the joy that is genuinely shown by people that have been with Bill for years--some no longer here, for with the Lord. (The Goodmans, Jake Hess, George Younce, Rex Nelon, J.D. Sumner, etc.) There some wonderful testimonies on the DVD--can't remember if it is on the CD, but the music is here at least, and it is such DELIGHTFUL music! I think I could listen to this every day once for the rest of my life! When you are tired, or discouraged with the difficulties of life--this will lift you up! And it is the old style singspiration and Southern Gospel songs, and not the contemporary stuff too, which we prefer. You can't go wrong with this one!

saves me a ton
1 of 1 found this helpful It works as described, and saves me a ton of money, for I gave my camp heater to a homeless man living in a tent and it uses 1 lb. cylinders--last him only 2 nights--2 of those cost me $11 at wallmart--now I use my 5 gal. container and fill those he uses for only $1.20 using this adapter.
