Best for finger safety
I have other mandolines with food pushers that do not hold the food piece very well. This one holds well, and when food is at the level of the slicer you push down on the top and slice several more slices, WITH LITTLE RISK OF SLICING FINGERTIPS. It works as long as you move the safety holder in the direction of the arrows. This is strongly recommended, and can be used with several types of mandolines.

If you have good control you'll enjoy this
Tombow does it again. Very good results with very flexible brush. Need to learn more control to use it to its fullest ability. If you are just learning brush lettering try the HARD tip version first.

Dip less and write/draw more
Wonderful upgrade to allow for longer drawing or calligraphy without repeated dipping. Once you get the hang of how much ink to load you feel truly free. Not quite like a fountain pen, but certainly allows flex nib writing to go on for longer time.
