Better than stock.
1 of 1 found this helpful Upgraded from the stock 2075 servo on my Stampede 4x4. The 2075 was fine, and I think I only stripped it out because I installed an STRC aluminum bell crank assembly. (word to the wise on that: don't use both aluminum angled pieces on the servo saver section. If you do, you'll get no saver function due to excess static friction. Use the aluminum STRC piece that slides on the stanchion and use the stock plastic arm that mates to it under the spring. Doesn't look as good, but it actually works that way.) Anyway, the Savox servo is a lot stronger and a little quicker. The improved build quality is patently obvious. I was wanting to save up for the SW-1211SG, but for the Stampede 4x4, this (the 0231) servo is plenty good.

Great product for a great price.
Got this ESC to replace the stock 80A unit in my Thunder Tiger Jackal. It just didn't have much of a low speed setting. This new one has a great curve on the throttle. Powering a 550 Hobbystar 3800 KV. Have been running on asphalt, dirt, grass, gravel. No overheating issues. A bit hokey to install since you access the receiver from a hatch on the bottom of the vehicle and the waterproofing gasket is impossible to get back in place. That's not the fault of the ESC though. Perfect on 2S, a bit too much on 3S. The only problem is that I had to buy the program card and do a few trial and error runs to make it work. But it does if you keep at it.

Nice upgrade.
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this as an upgrade from the stock transmitter for my Traxxas Stampede 4x4. The stock tx wasn't bad, but this one feels SO much better. The wheel is the biggest difference. Much smoother, better foam, lighter spring. The receiver installed and bound no problem. It fit perfectly in the receiver box, the antenna is a lot shorter which is awesome, and the 203GF is smaller than the stock receiver. The only thing I had to do was reverse the throttle on the transmitter. Having end point adjustment for steering is awesome. At max deflection, the stock receiver was still sending a signal to the servo and straining it. I was able to dial the left end point to 84% and now no more servo strain. Perfect upgrade!
